Privacy policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy describes how personal data is processed when you visit this site. Processing complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP).

Principle

This site is a showcase site. It has no form, no user account and no online shop. No personal data is requested from you in order to view it, and no data is sold on or passed to third parties for advertising purposes.

Technical data (server logs)

As with any website, access generates technical logs recorded by the host: IP address, date and time of the request, pages viewed, browser type and operating system. This data serves only to ensure the operation, the security and the stability of the site. It is not used to identify you, nor cross-referenced with other information.

Cookies and trackers

The site sets no cookies and uses no audience measurement tool (no Google Analytics or equivalent). The typefaces are hosted directly on the site: no request is sent to third-party services (such as Google Fonts) during your visit.

Contact by email

If you write to the contact address, the information you send (name, email address, content of the message) is processed solely in order to answer your enquiry. It is kept for as long as is needed to follow up the exchange, then deleted, and is not passed on to any third party.

Hosting outside Switzerland

As the site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., United States), the technical logs mentioned above may be processed outside Switzerland. In this respect the United States benefits from a recognition of adequate protection by the Swiss Federal Council for companies certified under the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

In accordance with the revFADP, you may at any time request access to your personal data, its correction or its deletion, or object to its processing. To exercise these rights, write to chr.brandner@gmail.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss supervisory authority: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern.

Changes

This policy may be adapted if the site or the legal framework changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
